There is NO REASON WHAT SO EVER for a grown man, whether her father, a teacher, a pastor or especially NOT a police officer to ever physically attack an unarmed 15 year old young woman.

It's this type of abuse of power that has me seriously contemplating setting aside a portion of what I have been blessed with to help prosecute to the fullest extent of the law the corrupt law enforcement officers, while spending equally to support those officers who deserve our respect and praise for willingly accepting the power granted them by the people to humbly serve us honorably and honestly.

I am quite serious about this and I urge others to consider taking the same action, even if it's to just bring them down civilly or using the power of the law to cost them their savings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2546950008014232634.post-5812719842588542192009-04-24T13:20:00.000-07:002009-04-24T13:20:00.000-07:00You really don't have a clue do you "anonymous". D...You really don't have a clue do you "anonymous". Do you really think a cop will be right there if you get victimized in any way? Thankfully, I live in Texas where the laws are clear on how you can carry and defend yourself and your property.

Explain to me why cops are almost always exonerated when they've obviously done wrong. If it were a teacher or a nurse and one of them had done anything anywhere close to what Schene did, what would you think the consequences would be? What consequences would you expect?

As far as the gang bangers, felons, etc., if the time, effort and funds were geared more toward providing outlets and programs toward educating and/or rehabilitating the offenders, then we wouldn't be saddled with the world's highest incarceration percentage in the world.

Schene definitely should be fired and charged felony assault in my book. If it were a teacher or nurse who did what he did to either a student or patient, then we all know what the result would be and it would happen in a heartbeat.Chucknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2546950008014232634.post-4076635327535494342009-04-11T01:33:00.000-07:002009-04-11T01:33:00.000-07:00Nice little story,I especially like how you only i...Nice little story,

I especially like how you only isolate the extremely small percentage (less than .01%) of police cases but fail to do any research on convicted felons, who get off on technocalities on a constant basis - ie, active DOC felons who get busted for selling dope on the street, get out of jail the next day and eventually only get 1 month probation for the offense - or how about the thousands of cases which either get dropped or reduced to riduculous plea bargains because the prosecutors have too many cases to file. Or how about the active DOC offender (convicted felon) who are let out on the street like the one who murdered Deputy Steve Cox.

I find it interesting how people like you only feel it necessary to showcase the small percentage of Police abuse cases but never show any outrage about Active Doc, Convicted Felon, Gang Bangers who constantly get cases dropped or plead out to next to nothing.

Why don't we ever see any stories or websites or newsprograms that document heroic acts of the police that happen every day. They sometimes give their lives to protect complete strangers and those strangers belongings without any praise or gratitude at all.

Or how about the thousands of assaults that happen to cops on a daily basis, that's never on the news or on your website. How about the prostitute who assaulted over 8 cops in a short period of time (some serious injury assaults) who never got any real time or how the prosecutors in each incident tried to lower the penalty for the assaults. Why is it only when cops do something wrong that they not only get the full media negative converage but the prosecutor is only too happy to throw the full extent of the law at them, but when Police get assaulted the prosecutors try to lower the charges!!!!! Never hear anything about that do you?

No, instead you want to post negative blasts about an extremely small number of Police officers who may or may not have done something wrong - forgetting the 10's of thousands of cops that do things right everyday serving and protecting people like YOUR family.

Next time you get robbed, your car stolen, beaten up, victimized in any way - the prosecutor won't be coming to your aid, neither will any part of the media, nor will the politicians or any of the public for that matter - it will be a POLICE OFFICER, they are the only ones who stand between you and complete chaos in this country.

When you're done trying to demonize the police why don't you sit down for a moment while you are drinking your latte and ponder a country without Police officers and try and think how that would be for your cozy little life.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
